The Associate of Arts degree in Theatre is ideal for students interested in all aspects of Theatre including acting, directing, and playwriting. This degree offers a broad-based liberal arts curriculum with ample Theatre specific courses. Majors will graduate with a strong foundation in Theatre Arts that can be further developed at a four-year institution. Graduates of the program can seamlessly transfer with junior status to a four-year public university in New Jersey. Recent graduates of the program have transferred to Montclair State, Ramapo, Rutgers, Drew, and Marymount Manhattan College.
Raritan Valley Community College’s (RVCC) Visual and Performing Arts Department will present the annual RVCC Student Art Exhibition The first exhibition runs from March 28-April 11.
An opening reception for Part I will be held Friday, March 28, from 6-8 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
Part I will feature an array of media from the following disciplines: 2D design, ceramics, color theory, drawing, illustration, interior design and printmaking
The show is being coordinated by Darren McManus, RVCC Art Gallery Coordinator and Full-time Instructor. Gallery hours for the exhibition are Mondays, 3-8 p.m.; Tuesdays, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.; Wednesdays, 3-8 p.m.; Thursdays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; and Fridays, 1-4 p.m. The gallery will not open until 6 p.m. on Friday, March 28
