An opening reception for Part I will be held Friday, March 27, from 6-8 p.m. Refreshments will be served. The wide variety of work included in the exhibition was created by RVCC students and selected by faculty members from the Visual and Performing Arts Department. Part I will feature an array of media from the following disciplines: 2D design, ceramics, color theory, drawing, illustration, interior design and printmaking. The show is being coordinated by Darren McManus, RVCC Art Gallery coordinator and full-time instructor. Gallery hours for the exhibition are Mondays, 3-8 p.m.; Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Wednesdays, 3-8 p.m.; Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Fridays, 1-4 p.m. The gallery will not open until 6 p.m. on Friday, March 27.
